MyGallery for Joomla 1.5 is a component to create image galleries. You can create categories with different levels. You can create unlimited categories and unlimited image galleries for each category. It is not mandatory to create the categories in which to insert the image galleries.
When you view a gallery of pictures, clicking on an image, it is displayed with the lightbox effect, you can move the mouse to the next or previous image. |
Users logged can rate pictures. You can enter a value from 1 to 5.

| MANAGE CATEGORIES |
|
Adding or modifying a category is requested the following information.
CATEGORY: Category description.
LEVEL UP: The higher category than that inserted. If not written anything the category is included in the main level.
LIST ORDER: Need to establish an order in the list of categories at the same level. |

| MANAGE GALLERIES |
|
GALLERY DESCRIPTION: Description of the gallery.
CATEGORY: The category it belongs to the gallery. If left blank the gallery is assigned to any category and appear at the root level.
LIST ORDER: Need to establish an order list of galleries at the same level. |

| Using the button "IMAGE GALLERY" you can upload several pictures in the gallery. Each image uploaded using the button "UPLOAD IMAGE" is displayed as a thumbnail. |

| MANAGE RATING |
If in the configuration panel is enabled the field called "Allow image rating", users logged can insert evaluations of each image.
Using the menu "manage rating, the administrator may view, edit or delete evaluations made by users for pictures of each gallery. |

| CONFIGURATION |

Using this panel you can set the configurations of MyGallery.
E-MAIL: If you activate the evaluation of images and this field contains an e-mail, each time an user vote a picture about an image, is sent an e-mail notification to this mail address.
IMAGES PER RAW: Need to specify how many thumbnails per row should be displayed in the gallery.
THUMBNAIL WIDTH: Uploading an image is automatically created a thumbnail. In this field you can specify the width in pixels of the thumbnail.
IMAGES WIDTH WHEN HORIZONTAL: Uploading an image is automatically resized.
Images where the width is greater than height is resized using the width specified in this field.
IMAGES HEIGHT WHEN VERTICAL: Uploading an image is automatically resized.
Images where the width is less than the height resized using the height specified in this field.
IMAGE QUALITY %: You can set the image quality and JPG compression (10% low quality - 100% high quality).
THUMBNAIL FRAME COLOR: Used to specify the border color of the thumbnail.
THUMBNAIL FRAME WIDTH: Need to specify the size in pixels of the thumbnail frame.
ALLOW IMAGES RATING: Need to allow images rating by user in front-end.
ALLOW MOOTOOLS.JS CHARGE: This field activate the file MOOTOOLS.JS in the header of Joomla template if the Joomla template not provided it.
FIRST IMAGE AS GALLERY LINK: If set "YES", the first image of the gallery is used as a link to the gallery, if set "NO" an icon is used.
GALLERIES PER RAW: Used to specify the number of galleries to display links on each raw.
MESSAGE GALLERY INTRO: This message appears at the beginning of each gallery. Can be blank. |
